This page lists the meetings for Standards Committee.
The Standards Committee promotes and maintains high standards of conduct within the Council, including advising on adopting or revising to the code of conduct; and monitoring and advising on how effective the code of conduct is in the light of best practice and changes in the law. It comprises 5 members appointed by Council, one who is independent (i.e. not a councillor), and three parish council representatives. Many standards issues are delegated to the Council’s Monitoring Officer to deal with on behalf of the Committee.
