The minutes of the meeting held on 6 March 2024, were agreed, and signed by the Chairman. It was agreed that matters arising from the minutes would be taken in the exempt session.

There were no declarations of interest made. 

The Chairman thanked Members of the Staffing Committee for their contributions throughout the year.

Members considered and agreed that, in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded during the discussion of the matters referred to, on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, and the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

To consider the performance objectives for the Chief Executive for the coming year, 2024/25.  The objectives are used as a basis of evaluation of the Chief Executives’ performance.
