ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIRMAN

To elect a Vice-Chairman for 2022/23 from amongst the membership of the Committee.

Cllr Worlock was elected as Vice-Chairman of the Staffing Committee for the 2022/23 Municipal Year.

The Minutes of the meeting held on 10 February 2022 to be signed as a correct record, including exempt minutes

Apologies for absence were received from Cllr Neighbour.  The absence of Cllr Wildsmith was noted.

EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC

RECOMMENDATION

 

Members must decide whether the public interest in maintaining an exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

 

It is suggested that, in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded during the discussion of the matters referred to, on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information, as defined in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, and the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

DECISION

 

Members decided the public interest in maintaining an exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information.

SHAPLEY HEATH AUDIT REVIEW REPORT

The purpose of this report is to receive the request from Audit Committee that Staffing Committee reviews the exercise of officer management oversight over the SH project, for the period from March 2021 to the closure of the Shapley Heath (SH) project, including reviewing officersapplication of financial controls, risk management, monitoring, and reporting.
